Public Workshop
Wednesday, May 23, at 6 p.m.

The Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) will host a public workshop next week to inform the commission’s possible recommendation to the Napa County Board of Supervisors regarding the future load-bearing strength of Runway 18R-36L at the Napa County Airport.
A 1974 county ordinance allowed for the extension of the runway but limited the runway’s load-bearing strength. Based on the current aircraft that use the airport, the AAC is evaluating whether a reconsideration of the permissible runway load-bearing strength is justified.
Anyone with an interest in airport operations is welcome to attend. The meeting is Wednesday, May 23, at 6 p.m. in the Actus Hangar at the airport, 2030 Airport Road. For more information, please contact the Airport Management Office at 253-4300.
